JAY-net Z’s worth has recently increased substantially.
According to publication TMZ, Jay-Z’s long-awaited deal to sell the digital streaming network TIDAL to Square and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was finalized on Friday (April 30). Dorsey declared his intention to buy a majority stake in the popular streaming platform in March, and his wish was finally granted on Friday. When it comes to Hov, he’s no stranger to making big business deals. With this deal, Square gains 80 percent control of TIDAL and licensing agreements with major record labels by buying the shares for $350 million. All of the artists and owners whose values increased after the agreement was announced will stay with the company as well. Hat’s off to Hov.
This partnership will be a game-changer for many. I look forward to all this new chapter has to offer!
