Fresh Faces Friday: The Fresh Committee Introduces Boob Bronx

The submissions are continuing to come in and the competition is getting thicker than a video girl’s thighs.

This week we got the Bronx general Boob Bronx who originally came to our attention with his Kings Run Doli album. His cadence is unique and his rhymes are suspenseful, creating all-around original material. Bronx’s latest EP Water contains five solid cuts. Intro track – The Arc sets the tone: “Glad I come from the bottom, we cut different indeed”.

A few seconds into the second Hurricane Hugo and you realize this is hip-hop in its purest form: raw, gritty, and relatable. The New York emcee continues the lyrical onslaught over the final three cuts:

With all due, what the fuck I owe who?/

Anybody on me, down to sin, nothing due/

We from the zoo, humble, niggas due/

Comfortable, getting uncomfortable to live comfortable/

Only them gods reach you when you heavenly/

That’s longevity/

The project was entirely produced by Kheyzine, who dedicated readers will recognize as a name we’ve mentioned here before.

There ain’t too much publicly known about the ill rhyme sayer, apart from the fact that he first popped up on the independent scene some seven years ago and has been murdering mics ever since. Definitely an MC worthy of your time and attention.
