Fresh Faces FridayFresh Faces Friday: The Fresh Committee Introduces Ynx716

Buffalo’s done it again! Add Ynx716 to the list of next emcees out of the Nickel City.

His latest project Life’s Purpose: The Untold Stories is full of catchy flows and reality rhymes, covering topics as varied as adolescence, day to day life, and street violence.

More than holding his own on collaborations with the likes of El Camino, 38 Spesh, and his fellow Buffalo rhymer Conway The Machine. His 90’s sound reminds you of a young Cormega setting it off back in the day:

God saved me single mother raised her only child/

Had my back against the wall,I can’t say that it ain’t on my now/

Too many kids turn victim, thank god i ain’t raised in the system won’t have to lay where I’m pissing/

Main goal and life is just living, problems stoop beneath me, can’t mock what’s seen on tv/

Cuz who’s to say where it leads me to? You was gone when I needed you/

Absentee fathers make these broken homes that we grieving through/

A natural story teller wielding a gifted pen has always had longevity and critical acclaim in hip hop.

Its never been easy for Western New Yorker’s, but Ynx comes right with the beats and rhymes, meaning his rise is just a matter of time.
