After sharing its official release date back in June, 20th Century Fox has now released the first teaser trailer for The King’s Man. The third installment to the acclaimed Kingsman franchise, The King’s Man, will serve as a prequel to the series and shed some light on the origins of the organization. The film takes place in the 1900s and leads up to the events that started the Kingsman organization.
Ralph Fiennes plays T.E. Lawrence and Liam Neeson plays Herbert Kitchener. Daniel Bruhl plays Gelix Yusupov, and Gemma Arterton joins the cast as Mata Hari. Rhys Ifans plays the villainous Grigori Rasputin while Harris Dickinson plays a new agent named Conrad. Matthew Vaughn returns once again to the directorial chair.
The official synopsis for the film reads as followed, “As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man…”
