Nike‘s ’80s Daybreak sneaker has had a big year. The sportswear giant dropped the retro sneaker in multiple neutral colors and even released a dope collaboration with UNDERCOVER. This week Nike preps a release of the classic model in three fresh color combinations, with an emphasis on pastels and metallic colors.
The first of the trio is the “Lavender Mist” option which features a muted purple upper and receives welcomed contrast in the form of a black Swoosh and tongue logo. Furthermore, a touch of pink on the “Nike” emblem that sits on the heel adds a bit more the model. The two other options play around with metallics. With hits of gold and silver details to make them pop. The gold version features a powder blue upper while the silver option features a stark grey and black upper.
Each model utilizes nylon and suede that sit atop a clean foam midsole and waffle outsole. Lastly, clean white laces round off the look for all three models. You can take a detailed look at all three sneakers in the gallery below.
Each shoe will retail for ¥12,960 (about $120), the Daybreak in “Lavender Mist,” “Metallic Silver” and “Metallic Gold” will be available beginning August 2 from Nike Japan’s website.
