I’ve been waiting to hear something on these ever since I saw them almost six months ago. Jerry Lorenzo finally gives us an official look at the yellow-hued Nike Air Fear of God 1. The yellow colorway was originally labeled “Amarillo” but Lorenzo doesn’t seem to be too fond of that name as he took to Instagram to give o Instagram to give the shoe new names.
“The Lakeshow Yellows… aka The Chicago Sky’s… aka The Lorenzo PE’s… Just don’t call them “The Amarillo’s” please,” he wrote on one post. “The #Pikachus “Lil Baby Voice” …the “Yes Indeeds.”Jerry Lorenzo
If you remember the “Frosted Spruce” and “Orange Pulse” colorways this shoe doesn’t stray too far from that concept. The new colorway features the most vibrant of yellows. In addition to a breathable mesh upper, the yellow extends to the TPU cage and lacing. You’ll notice the white mini Swoosh and double stacked Zoom Air sole. It all comes together with a nice icy blue contrast from the sole window.
Based solely off of Lorenzo’s Instagram post. The sneaker drops this month via the Nike SNKRS. We’ll keep you posted on the official drop date and pricing when we become aware of it.
