Here’s a First-Look At Disney’s Live-Action Remake For Mulan

It’s been almost a year since we saw the first look at the live-action Mulan remake. We finally have our first-look in this new teaser trailer.

Directed by Niki Caro (2002’s Whale Rider), 2020’s Mulan will use the same plot from the 1998’s animated feature film, which follows the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. Starring Yifei Liu as the eponymous character, Mulan follows a young woman as she breaks tradition and enters the men-only Imperial Army to help China fight northern invaders. During her journey to be a warrior, Mulan fights to earn the respect of her nation and her sick father.

Alongside Yifei Liu, the remaining cast for the new Mulan film consists of Donnie Yen as Commander Tung, Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan and Yoson An as Cheng Honghui, with Gong Li as Xianniang and Jet Li as the Emperor. You can watch the teaser trailer above.
