Here’s a First Look at Official Footage From the ‘Bond 25’ Set in Jamaica

Earlier in the year around April, we got official news of a new James Bond movie. Today we finally have a few official shots from the forthcoming Bond 25 film.

In the teaser video, we get official behind-the-scenes footage of the 25th film in the James Bond franchise which sees 007, played by Daniel Craig in his fifth go at the role, with a storyline based in Jamaica. You’ll also notice shots of True Detective director Cary Fukunaga behind the camera. Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, and Captain Marvel‘s Lashana Lynch as Nomi. Additionally, we see James Bond enjoying some sun, drinks and the nightlife in Jamaica. Watch the official clip above.

The still-untitled film will see Bond, who is now enjoying life in Jamaica after retiring from the service, joining a rescue mission to save a kidnapped scientist after his friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. James Bond will have to confront and defeat new villains armed with new technology to succeed.

Academy Award-winning actor Rami Malek will star as the film’s main antagonist villain, while Ralph Fiennes (Gareth Mallory), Naomie Harris (Miss Moneypenny), Ben Whishaw (Q), and Lea Seydoux (Dr. Madelaine Swann) are among the film’s returning stars. Newcomers include Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049), Billy Magnussen (Game Night), Dali Benssalah, Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel) and David Dencik (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).

Bond 25 is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on April 8, 2020.
