With the future of the DC Universe still somewhat in limbo, comic book fans have been eagerly waiting for an update on what’s to come with characters already established on screen by Warner Bros.
Just ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, director Patty Jenkins and actress Gal Gadot gave fans a first look at Wonder Woman 1984. In the image we see Wonder Woman wearing her iconic Gold Eagle Armor from the comic books. If this truly is the case we might see Wonder Woman take flight when the movie hits in 2020. In the comics, the Golden Eagle armor gives Wonder Woman the ability to fly. It also makes her resistant to bullets, explosions and other kinds of projectile blasts. Jenkins also stated that the cast of Wonder Woman 1984 won’t be attending Comic-Con. The crew plans to star the movie’s press campaign in December.
So mark you calendars because Wonder Woman 1984 hits theatres on June 5, 2020.
By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait… pic.twitter.com/QllFzhYRA6
