Apple Unveils The All New, Beautiful Mac Pro Starting at a Whopping $5,999.
To say it’s been a while since we’ve seen a new Mac Pro would be an understatement. But today Apple finally took care of their pro customers with its redesigned stainless steel Mac Pro at WWDC. The new Mac Pro is the most customizable Mac ever.
The most powerful Mac ever features an Intel Xeon processor that has 28 cores! If that wasn’t enough. It also has 12 RAM slots that can hold up to 1.5 terabytes of RAM. That in addition to the eight PCIe expansion slots Mac this a serious pro desktop computer. Apple’s also introduced its Afterburner Card. An accelerator card capable of playing back three streams of 8K ProRes RAW video. The new Mac Pro has two Ethernet ports, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB-A ports, and a headphone jack.
I’m so excited about this computer. It’s about time Apple started taking care of their professional customers who needed a whole lot more. The new Mac Pro from Apple will support up to two Radeon Pro Vega II GPUs and for cooling, The new Mac Pro has three fans and a blower that Apple says shouldn’t be any louder than the iMac Pro when it’s under load. You can also purchase optional wheels for the Mac Pro to make transportation easy. To go along with the most powerful Mac ever. Apple created a 32-inch 6K Retina display made by Apple specifically called the Apple Pro Display XDR which features the same spherical cutout design found on the Mac Pro. But in the displays case, this design also doubles as a heat-sync.
The starting price for a Mac Pro goes for $5,999 USD. That’ll get you an eight-core Xeon CPU, 32GB of memory, 256GB SSD and the Radeon Pro 580X graphics card.
