It’s been a long wait for these Jordan’s to come out and now the return of the Air Jordan 4 Bred is in full effect. force as Jordan Brand celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the sneaker made by Tinker Hatfield.
The 2019 release of the Air Jordan 4 remains true to the OG version. The shoe features black nubuck on the upper, the iconic grids with touches of gray and red. You’ve seen this shoe before, it was good then and is still a good sneaker in 2019. The shoe also now features Nike Air branding on the heel for the first since 1999.
Aside from being a good looking sneaker the popularity of the Air Jordan 4 Bred came from when Michael hit “The Shot” on Craig Ehlo and beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the 1989 NBA Playoffs. The Cavaliers hated Michael Jordan and with “The Shot”, Jordan beat the Cavs in that playoff series 4 games to 1.
