Wiz Khalifa Previews Teaser Trailer For Apple Music Docu-series
Watching Wiz Khalifa grow into the artist he is today has been one of the coolest things. If you’ve ever watched his DayToday Series on YouTube you’ll know that he put in crazy amounts of work. If you were a fan from day one. You remember his mixtapes that dropped in the late ’00s. Mixtapes such as Star Power and Flight School put him on the path to stardom. Today Apple Music announced that they’ll be launching a new docu-series on the early stages of Wiz’s career and how he became the global icon he is today.
Variety reported that Apple Music will launch its docuseries on Wiz Khalifa on April 17th. “Wiz Khalifa: Behind The Cam will go into the most intimate aspects of Wiz’s life.” The docu-series will show archival footage from his 10-year plus career which will include interviews with the people who are closest to Wiz. The series consists of five episodes which will all be available upon release. Wiz stated:
“Taylor Gang has been with me since the start, so I wanted to make something to show just how far we’ve come”
SMAC Entertainment, Taylor Gang, Dirty Robber, and Atlantic Records all take part in producing the docuseries. The executive producer of the series, Michael Strahan, said. “Wiz and I both share a passion for family, friendship and hard work, and that’s exactly what you’ll see from him in this series. We’re excited to team up with Apple Music and give the world an intimate look into the rise of an entertainment icon.”
