When looking for a good anime to sink your teeth into, it can be a bit difficult filtering through what may at some times seem like an endless amount of options. With so many different types of anime. There’s something out there for everybody. This is a post that will play as somewhat a continuation from a post I did earlier where I listed 10 Great Anime You Should Watch. Hopefully, before the year comes to a close I can update this list with some great new shows. Let me be the first to admit, this list is in no particular order. I did try to list them from good to best. I feel this is a really helpful list of the best anime of 2019 (so far). If you have any recommendations you can list them in the comments. So without further ado, let’s get into it.
Hushed exchanges among the female student populace of Shinyo Academy center around an enigmatic supernatural entity. Yet, the abandoned infant survives thanks to a medicine man who equips him with primitive prosthetics—lethal ones with which the wronged son will use to hunt down the multitude of demons to reclaim his body one piece at a time, before confronting his father. On his journeys, the young hero encounters an orphan who claims to be the greatest thief in Japan.
My Roommate is a Cat
Japanese Title: 同居人はひざ、時々、頭のうえ。 Episodes: 12 Studios: Zero-G Genres: Slice of Life, Comedy Novelist Subaru Mikazuki, who is shy and not good with other people, and Haru, the cat that has been living a severe stray life. This is a story of them suddenly living together and describes the happiness of living together from both points of view. It’s a fun, light-hearted anime perfect with essential lessons in learning to trust and the values of companionship and friendship.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War
Japanese Title: かぐや様は告らせたい～天才たちの恋愛頭脳戦～ Episodes: 12 Studios: A-1 Pictures Genres: Comedy, Psychological, Romance, School, Seinen
At the renowned Shuchiin Academy, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya are the student body’s top representatives. Ranked the top student in the nation and respected by peers and mentors alike, Miyuki serves as the student council president. Alongside him, the vice president Kaguya—eldest daughter of the wealthy Shinomiya family—excels in every field imaginable. The Rising of the Shield Hero

Thrust into Melromarc and given the title of “Shield Hero,” otaku Naofumi Iwatani is labeled the weakest due to his lack of offensive capability and apparent inexperience. When the heroes part ways to start their journeys, he only has one willing companion: the beautiful princess Malty Melromarc. However, she soon betrays him, steals all his money, and accuses him of taking advantage of her.
For his alleged crimes, Naofumi is branded a criminal and made an outcast of society. With hatred filling his heart, he sets out alone, vowing vengeance against those who wronged him.
One day, a poor high school second-year named Fuutarou Uesugi comes across a private tutoring gig with good pay. But his pupils are his classmates!! And they’re quintuplets!! Mob Psycho 100 II

Eighth-grader Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama has tapped into his inner wellspring of psychic prowess at a young age. But the power quickly proves to be a liability when he realizes the potential danger in his skills. Choosing to suppress his power, Mob’s only present use for his ability is to impress his longtime crush, Tsubomi, who soon grows bored of the same tricks.
In order to effectuate control on his skills, Mob enlists himself under the wing of Arataka Reigen, a con artist claiming to be a psychic, who exploits Mob’s powers for pocket change. Now, exorcizing evil spirits on command has become a part of Mob’s daily, monotonous life. However, the psychic energy he exerts is barely the tip of the iceberg; if his vast potential and unrestrained emotions run berserk, a cataclysmic event that would render him completely unrecognizable will be triggered. The progression toward Mob’s explosion is rising and attempting to stop it is futile.
Surrounded by a forest and a gated entrance, the Grace Field House is inhabited by orphans happily living together as one big family, looked after by their “Mama,” Isabella. Although they are required to take tests daily, the children are free to spend their time as they see fit, usually playing outside, as long as they do not venture too far from the orphanage—a rule they are expected to follow no matter what. However, all good times must come to an end, as every few months, a child is adopted and sent to live with their new family… never to be heard from again.
