James Harden Scores Career High Against the New York Knicks.
Before the game started, Knicks Head Coach David Fizdale said that everyone would get a chance to guard James Harden to give him different looks hoping to slow him down in any way possible. All it resulted in was a new career high and points as The Bearded one once again made minced meat of his opponent. Harden went on to score 61-points with 36 of those coming in the first half. It didn’t matter who stepped up to guard him, Harden either got to the cup, got to the line or got a 3 ball to go through the net.
In this game, Harden became the first player in NBA history to attempt both at least 20 free throws and 20 three pointers in the same game. This is also Harden’s fifth game of at least 50-points this season as well. His current streak of 30-point games was kept alive as well which is at 21 now. Just above are the highlights of Harden’s historic night that came down to the wire with the Rockets narrowly edging the Knicks 114-110.
