Astroworld Surpasses Scorpion For Billboard Hot 200 Top Spot

Over the weekend, Travis Scott‘s Astroworld became the number one album on the Billboard 200 chart. Which wasn’t easy to do. Travis had to beat out Drake’s five-week run with Scorpion.

Astroworld put up some serious numbers. Scott’s third studio album did 537,000 units in its first week, with 270,000 being traditional album sales. According to Billboard, Scott’s Astroworld marks the second-highest debut of 2018. Second only to Drake‘s Scorpion. In addition, this is Scott’s second No. 1 album. Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight was his first, it moved 88,000 units.
