Dave East Named Global Ambassador for Luc Belaire’s “Self Made Tastes Better” Campaign

Luc Belaire is pleased to welcome Dave East as its newest global ambassador. The American rapper, who hails from Harlem, NY, has become a major staple within New York’s music scene and is on his way to global superstardom.

Dave East represents the self-made success, specialized talent, and entrepreneurialism that Luc Belaire is proud to collaborate with and support. East and Belaire will be working together on a variety of creative projects to communicate with fans, including Belaire’s ongoing video series “Self Made Tastes Better” and a limited edition fantôme bottle. He joins Luc Belaire’s global network of brand ambassadors that includes DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Steve Aoki, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. He will be promoting Belaire’s full range of wines: the top-selling Belaire Rosé, elegant Belaire Luxe and newly-released Belaire Gold.

“I’ve been a fan of Belaire and their culture for a while now,” explains Dave East. “We are free-thinking, enterprising hustlers. I’m excited to have this platform to invite others to celebrate success through hardwork.”

Brett Berish, CEO of Sovereign Brands, owner of Luc Belaire, says: “Dave East is inspired and inspiring. We appreciate his quality of content, his storytelling, and his self-made spirit. That’s why we have connected so well. We’re collaborating on lots of special projects together, so stay tuned.”

As an unsigned, independent artist, East released a vast catalogue of mixtapes, which caught the attention of record executive and multi-platinum recording artist Nas. East signed to Nas’ Mass Appeal label in 2014 for the release of Black Rose, and in 2015, he earned himself a spot on XXL Magazine’s coveted Freshman List. This lead to a major recording contract with Def Jam Recordings, and the wildly successful Kairi Chanel mixtape, which was streamed more than 5.8 million times in just 7 days. He is also featured on The Hamilton Mixtape from the Broadway musical, alongside The Roots, Nas, Common, Chance The Rapper, Wiz Khalifa, John Legend, Alicia Keys & more. But East shows no signs of stopping. In 2017, East released two projects, including his debut EP entitled Paranoia: A True Story. This was followed by its critically-acclaimed second installment, Paranoia 2, released January 16, 2018 – a prelude to his upcoming debut studio album.
