D∆WN releases two new tracks “Serpentine Fire” + “Lemonade Lakes”

2016 is shaping up to be a pretty lit year for singer DΔWN (Dawn Richard) coming fresh off of the critical success of her sophomore album 2015’s “Blackheart” Richard has been hustling ever since. Finding creative ways to release and expand her growing music empire, Richard  teamed up with Adult Swim in 2015 for their Singles Program with the track “Running From Sane”, the two reunite once again for the 2016 edition of the channel’s annual mixtape series with the track “Serpentine Fire”. The track is a sharp departure from her previous Pop/R&B roots with groups Danity Kane and Diddy-Dirty Money by exploring a more Electronic sound taking cues from modern Disco music with a Future Beats vibe. Not to mention her sultry voice is played up with effects to add more character to the song. You can check out the song below:

Next, we see Richard teaming up with London-based producer Oshi on the UK Funky beat record. “Lemonade Lakes”. As a collaboration with Adidas and Yourstru.ly for their series “Songs From Scratch” which unites two artists who have never collaborated before to create a new and refreshing track.
