Nike Unveils New Colors For its Air Max 95 Inspired By ’90s Windbreakers

Nike winds back the clock with new colors for its Air Max 95. This time the sportswear giant takes inspiration from vintage and brightly colored windbreakers from the  ’80s and early ’90s. The new retro-themed colorway makes for a unique blend of colors.

Starting with an all-white upper, the AM95’s classic utilizes some of Nike’s classic heritage colors. Such as “University Gold”, “Teal Nebula” and electric blue. Both the lace guard and tongue come in black to contrast the white reflective material used on the toe box. This same material also sits on the heel. Things come together with the addition of oversized Nike Air logos and a “Sportswear” tag near the heel in “Red Orbit” and black. It almost makes you wish you could find a classic windbreaker to wear with these.

The throwback windbreaker-inspired Air Max 95s are now available over at Nike’s online store, for a retail price of $170 USD. If you like these you can pick up a pair today.
