‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ Introduces Damon Herriman as Charles Manson.
For the second trailer that follows up the first trailer released back in March, Sony Pictures gives us yet another look at the Quentin Tarantino-directed Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. In the clip, Leonardo DiCaprio plays as actor Rick Dalton — neighbor to Sharon Tate — as well as Brad Pitt as stunt double Cliff Booth and Margot Robbie as Tate.
The trailer starts off with Dalton and Booth living in their glory days, showing their lives as Hollywood A-Listers. As time has passed, the two are now seen as has-beens. So the pair make an attempt to return to their former glory. The trailer shows several Manson Family members, who tell Booth that Charles Manson will “dig” him, before introducing Damon Herriman as Manson.
The movie consists of “multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age,” with the Manson Family murders only being a portion of the plot of the movie. Furthermore, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will also portray other storylines reflecting that era.
To go alongside the trailer, Sony Pictures also dropped off vintage-inspired posters inspired by the 1960s for movies installing Rick Dalton. You can watch the second trailer for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood above and be sure to catch it when it releases in theaters on July 26.
