Rence, born Jackson Lawrence Hirsh, began building a devoted fanbase with the early 2018 release of his single “Baby Blue,” while a student at NYU. Garnering support from press, DSPs and fellow artists, his tracks have received praise from tastemakers Lyrical Lemonade, Elevator, Daily Chiefers, and HillyDilly amongst others. The track has been posted and shared on the playlists of fellow rising artists like Chelsea Cutler and Fletcher, and all of this has happened before his upcoming May college graduation.

Based on lyrics he originally scribbled on the back of a napkin while on a break from waiting tables in a Brooklyn restaurant, “Ways To Go” is the second song Rence has released from his forthcoming EP Presence. “Ways To Go” is an introspective track that finds Rence delivering relateable bars that listeners are sure to feel.
