In the span of 24 hours, HBO has released a total of 3 Game of Thrones clips, and I can’t keep up. The latest showing the famous northern stronghold, Winterfell in ruins. This is good for us as an audience, of course. More content to obsess over while we wait. But given the ominous vibe of the 1:11 second clip, things are looking pretty severe for the Winterfell lot.

The new teaser named, ‘Aftermath’ displays Winterfell engulfed in the sounds of wind, clashing swords and screeches of dragons. Based on what we know so far, this is no surprise. Show-runners have alluded to a battle taking place that the northern capital. Most likely occurring in the 3rd episode seeing as it will be directed by Miguel Sapochnik. Sapochnik is famous for taking charge of most battle sequences, including the iconic Battle of the Bastards in season 6.

The video culminates on a shot of KITN, Jon Snow’s Valyrian steel sword stuck in the snow, very king Arthur-esque. The other iconic characters’ belongings appear in the chaos, including Jaime Lannister’s make-shift hand formed by Qyburn, Bran’s wheelchair, Tyrion’s Hand of the King pin and Arya’s sword ‘Needle’.

Along with a poster shown below, fans will have to wait and see of HBO will release another gem before April 12th when the final season of GoT airs.
