The ‘Dark Knight’ Trilogy Will Return For a 70mm IMAX Tour

After grossing nearly $2.5 billion at the box office for Warner Bros. and becoming the standard in superhero movies as far as Batman is concerned. The Dark Knight gave a realistic and refined approach to superhero movies with its dark esthetic and rawness. Now, the three films from Christopher Nolan‘s Dark Knight trilogy will return to the silver screen to commemorate Batman‘s 80th anniversary that takes place later this month. The tour will touch fives cities, each event will show the movies back-to-back in a 70mm IMAX format. For those unfamiliar with the 70mm format. We’ve added a video below that will showcase the difference when compared to the cinematic release.

Furthermore, if you’re lucky enough to attend the viewing on March 30th in Los Angeles. You’ll also get the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with Nolan during the break between the second and third films. If you’re unable to make the viewing, you need not worry. The three films and the Q&A session combined will have a run time of around 8 hours.
