Markus Howard is the Most Pristine Bucket Getter in NCAA

Watch Markus Howard Erupt for 53 Points in OT Win Versus Creighton

Not gonna lie, I’m as astonished as you may be cause this guy was nowhere on my radar for college hoops. Turns out he became the first person in the last 20 years of college hoops to have multiple 50-point outings, the other one was last season when he scored 52. His game last night broke his own previous record for the most points scored in a single game by a Big East player by scoring 53 points, with 14 coming in the overtime period. The kid gets buckets!

He has had two 45 point games as well this season and holds the top four slots for most points scored in a single game in Marquette history and it’s still a lot of basketball to be played between now and March Madness. He’s getting buckets at every level and his array of moves and counter moves help him find the right amount of separation to do what he does best, shoot the air out the rock. Watch Howard’s record setting night below and keep tabs on this guy, he’s sure to become a fan favorite by March.
