Marvel Studios Unveils the First Avengers: End Game Trailer.
When Avengers: Infinity War came out fans were blown away by the cinematic production value of a superhero film. They were also surprised at the climatic yet devastating conclusion. For the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe the heroes didn’t win. With the snap of a finger Thanos obliterated the Earth’s population by half. It was something we absolutely didn’t see coming. While the remaining Avengers such as Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Ant-Man, and Hawkeye were left to mourn the loss of their friends.
Today Marvel Studios released the highly anticipated followup dubbed Avengers: Endgame. It’s only right they finish off the story with the hero who started it all, Iron Man. In the trailer, Iron Man seemingly in dire-straits, floats through space with no food, water and almost no oxygen. Earth’s condition isn’t any better either. A massive statue of Thanos’ Armor stands erect as a reminder of what was lost. Everyone lost someone in this film some more than others. To bring some humor to an otherwise depressing situation. At the end of the trailer there’s a bit of comedic-relief from actor Paul Rudd’s who plays Ant Man.
There’s not much to go off by this trailer. All there is to know is that the stakes are extremely high. There’s also a good chance we may lose a hero or two by the end of this film. Take a first look at Avengers: Endgame below, and be sure to go check it out when it releases in theaters on April 26th 2019.
