Netflix Cancels Daredevil After Three Really Good Seasons.

Another Netflix show cancelled? Somethings happening here. We first saw the cancellation of  Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Now Netflix will cancel their popular series Daredevil after three seasons.

This comes as a shock and then it doesn’t. Netflix has decided to no longer stream the Marvel series altogether. The only Marvel shows left on Netflix are, Jessica Jones and The Punisher but I won’t hold my breath. Reports state the cancellation is due to costly production budgets for Marvel shows, along with growing differences on creative issues and season orders. Some reports also say that these cancellations may have to do with Disney’s rumored streaming service but who’s to know?

You can read the official statement from Netflix regarding the cancelation of Daredevil below.

“Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix. We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note. We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.”
