A Closer Look at the N.A.S.A. x Vans “Space Voyager” Capsule.

Today we  get the complete look at the highly anticipated collaboration between N.A.S.A. and Vans using the  Old Skool and SK8-Hi models for upcoming N.A.S.A x Vans “Space Voyager” capsule.

The collaboration pulls from the design of spacesuits used by the US space agency. All the sneakers in this capsule pay homage to the Voyager 1 & 2 and Apollo 11 missions. Firstly, we’ll find “True White” and “Firecracker” colors with the the Old Skool models. There’s tonal stitching and a John F. Kennedy Space Center mid-foot stamp. You’ll also notice “Shuttle Mission” tongue tags and removable velcro American flag heel patches and atop a space boot styled sole unit. When it comes to the SK8-Hi’s we find “True White” and “Black”. Both shoes feature velcro patches and Neil Armstrong’s historic “the eagle has landed quote” at the heel. Lastly, the collection also comes with a NASA-themed jacket, backpack and two more footwear models which haven’t been officially announced yet.

The capsule drops on November 2 a retailers. There’s no pricing set for these sneakers just yet.
