Nike Honors Caribbean Culture With the Air Force 1 Low “Caribana”

Nike Shows Love to the Caribbean With the Air Force 1 Low “Caribana”.

Nike pays tribute to Caribana this year. For those who don’t know, Caribana is a Toronto-based festival celebrating widespread Caribbean culture. This year they’ll pay homage to the festival with a custom pair of Air Force 1 Lows. Every summer, thousands gather in downtown Toronto to celebrate their Caribbean roots. Nike wanted to capture the tradition with these custom Air Forces.

Firstly the sneaker features cracked metallic gold on the upper with a colorful paint-splattered side Swoosh, tongue tab, heel counter and inner sole. All of which symbolize the outfits and platforms you’d find throughout the long weekend. In addition, the shoe features a mini palm tree graphic, along with a clean black sole unit to finish things off. You can purchase the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Caribana” at Capsule for a price of $165 CAD. Lastly, for more sneaker news, Nike Gives Us a New Take On Their OG Air Max 95.
