The New Zenith Defy El Primero 21 Blue Features the World’s Fastest Chronograph

The New Zenith Defy El Primero 21 Blue Features the World’s Fastest Chronograph Ever.

Swiss watch company Zenith unveiled the original El Primero in 1969, a design that featured, for the first time, an automatic chronograph movement precise to 1/10 of a second. Taking this technology to the next level, the brand has just released the Defy El Primero 21 Blue, that multiplies this accuracy by ten, to 1/100 of a second, making it the world’s fastest chronograph.

Firstly, the face and body take inspiration from its 1969 predecessor. It features a titanium case and matching rhodium-plated hour markers and hands. Other premium details include two balance wheels, and a mainplate in the brand’s signature blue. The intricate details of the timepiece are visible through the skeleton dial. In addition, the watch comes with three options of strap. One is a beautiful blue alligator leather coated design as well as a simple, blue rubber model.
