BMW Unveils Their Fully Electric Concept iX3 SUV
BMW just unveiled their concept iX3 which is a electric version of their compact crossover the X3. As expected the car incorporates blue highlights like previous i models. The iX3 concept also gives us an idea of what we can expect from the production model. The engine has 268 horsepower, which is 20 horsepower more than the standard turbocharged four-cylinder X3. The power comes from a 70 kWh battery with a reported range of 249 miles. In addition the car features fast charging with the ability to receive a full charge in just 30 mins. As you would expect, everything we see in a concept doesn’t aways make it to production but bits and pieces of the take make their way to other machines. BMW did state the production model will have a similar design language.
The German automaker stated the production model will arrive in 2020. Let us know what you think in the comments and you can view the images below. Lastly for more automotive news, BMW Unveils the 2019 M2 Competition.
