Mercedes-Benz Unveils the 2019 G-Class With Darker More Aggressive “Night Package”.
Last week, Mercedes-Benz presented its all-new G-Class at the Detroit Auto Show. The latest 500 model packs a 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 422 HP. As many have hoped, the highly anticipated G-wagon touts improved on-road performance and drivability. The better handling, a result of a redesigned suspension which also provides strong off-road handling. Thanks to an independent front axle raised to maximum levels to ensure smooth rides across rugged terrains. The German automaker also enhanced the nine-speed transmission. Now featuring dedicated software to decrease response times while switching gears. Functional renovations include increased legroom and luggage capacity while cosmetic upgrades offer aluminum trims and leather seats.
We expect the latest G500 to launch in May for an entry price of €107,040 EUR, or approx. $129,800 USD, remaining close to the current MSRP.
Now they take care of their fans who favor the “blacked out” look. The Mercedes G-Class Night Package comes with darker-tinted lights and windows. In addition, black trim on the grille, black-accented 20” AMG multi-spoke light alloy wheels. Heat-insulating glass, chrome trim, obsidian black elements and more sporty features. The Night Package option can only be used with bright-colored AMG models, and we expect more customization packages for the new G-Class. While the classic “murdered out” look can’t be achieved with the G-Class’ current Night Package, stay tuned for more new options.
