The Edge To Edge iPhone X Is The Future Of Apple and The iPhone.

The long-awaited and massively leaked special edition iPhone has finally arrived, and it’s called the iPhone X (pronounced iPhone 10). They are calling it the TrueDepth Camera System. Apple CEO Tim Cook teased the introduction of the the new device with the following words:

“Over the past decade, we’ve pushed forward with innovation after innovation, bringing us to this moment, when we can create devices that are far more intelligent, far more capable, and far more creative than ever before.”

The iPhone X features glass on the front and the rear, and it has “surgical-grade” stainless on the sides. If has two color options: space gray and silver. It’s display has the highest pixel density of any iPhone at (458ppi), which Apple calling the Super Retina display. Measuring in at 5.8 inches in diagonal size with a resolution of 2436 x 1125. This is also the first OLED display to put used in a iPhone. Just like the iPhone 8, the iPhone X also has True Tone display technology.

Apple has removed the home button on the iPhone for the first time, replacing it with an upward swipe gesture from the bottom of the phone. Along with the home button, Apple has moved away from Touch ID. The new unlock method for the iPhone is Face ID and it works exactly as the name suggests: it unlocks the phone when you look at it. It’s based on the tech in the TrueDepth camera system at the top of the phone: It features an IR system with the front camera and a flood illuminator that beams a light at your face to help recognize your face even in low light settings. Apple even took it a step further by building a dedicated neural engine — based on a dual-core custom chip design — to process face recognition in real time.

The Apple iPhone X will come in two sizes, a 64GB version and a 128GB model. The iPhone X will start shipping November 3rd and will be priced at $699 and $999 respectively.
