The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards takes place next month. The nominations were revealed yesterday July 25th: Kendrick Lamar comes in first place with the most nominations at eight, including “Video of the Year,” “Artist of the Year” and “Best Hip-Hop.” The Weeknd and Katy Perry each have five nominations, and Chance the Rapper, DJ Khaled and Ed Sheeran received multiple nominations as well. The 34th MTV Video Music Awards takes place on August 27 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. You can check out the full nominations list below.
