2017 already belongs to Marvel Studios, with Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 set to hit theaters on May 5. This year the studio plans on releasing only three films, with Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok set to release later this year.
For a while Spiderman: Homecoming was receiving all the love and media coverage. We’ve only seen screen captures of Ragnarok – Marvel’s final release of the year, but all that change this morning when Disney finally released the first trailer for the upcoming film.
Synopsis: Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
