Nissan‘s Z badge turns 50 in 2019 and the Japanese car manufacturer decided they would start the festivities early so they introduced the 2018 Nissan 370z Heritage Edition. Introduced in 1969 as the Nissan S30 “Fairlady Z” the Z badge was last seen on the sixth generation 370Z in which was manufactured in 2009. With a 3.7-liter V6 giving it 332 horsepower and came with the option of a 6 speed manual transmission or a 7 speed automatic, the improved Heritage Edition for 2018 comes with new front and rear lights, a redesigned grill, new doors and last but not least the addition of a EXEDY high-performance clutch. The car will come in two color options a Chicane Yellow with black decals or a Magnetic Black with silver decals – with black and yellow leather interior to finish it off.
The new Z will be previewed at the New York International Auto Show from April 14 to April 23 and will officially go on sale sometime this spring.
