Drake‘s More Life playlist/album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 this week.  This will be Drake’s seventh consecutive No. 1 album. Nielsen Music provided the numbers and stated, More Life moved 505,000 units in its opening week, 226,000 were traditional album sales and 23,000 TEA units.  With 257,000 units attributed to streaming equivalent units. Drake’s seventh No. 1 album ties with Eminem and Kanye West for the second-most number one albums by a rap act, with only JAY Z ahead with 13 No. 1s. More Life also had the largest opening week of any album since Drake dropped VIEWS, which debuted with 1.04 million units moved in May of 2016.
